Mission

Texas TechX Case Competition is a case competition hosted by TC, Texas CYC, and Texas Convergent where teams of 4 students have one week to come up with a solution to a real-life tech based business case before presenting to a panel of judges on Saturday, November 5th. There will be 2 rounds of judging: (1) preliminary case study and (2) grand finale. All undergraduate students from across the university are eligible to participate and can form teams across majors. Students are encouraged to challenge themselves and demonstrate their technical and business skills in collaborative efforts.

What can I win?

A variety of prizes can be won including cash prizes of $5,000.

How many people per team?

There can be a maximum of 4 people per team and a maximum of 2 people from the same organization.

How much does this cost to attend?

There is no cost but we will be taking $40 per team and returned after the competition to ensure selected teams will compete

What will I be doing?

You will get to explore and manipulate interesting data sets while working with a team and presenting to other teams and judges! You will also get to listen to workshops from our sponsors! Hint: The current dataset has a musical feel.

Can I work on something I've already started?

No.
